About

Aim and Scope

The Anatolian Turkish Journal of Education (ATED) is a peer-reviewed international journal that seeks to publish current and innovative research articles, reviews, and discussion papers primarily in the field of education. The journal aims to foster scholarly dialogue by addressing a wide range of educational topics, encouraging debate, and proposing alternative approaches to emerging issues within the field. It is expected that contributions published in ATED will serve as a foundation for contemporary discussions and contribute to the advancement of innovative research and practices in education.

ATED publishes two issues per year, in June and December, and provides open access to all its content free of charge. The journal employs a double-blind peer review process for all submissions, ensuring that the identities of both authors and reviewers remain anonymous. To facilitate this, authors must submit manuscripts free of identifying information and are encouraged to use the "Review" feature in MS Word to conduct a self-check before submission.

While ATED welcomes various types of contributions, it prioritizes original research articles. The number of review articles is carefully managed to ensure it does not exceed that of research articles.

Manuscripts may be submitted in either Turkish or English. For articles written in Turkish, authors must submit full-text English translations following acceptance. Articles written in English are published only in English. In special issues, full texts may also be published in other languages deemed appropriate by the editorial board, provided that an extended English abstract is included.

ATED adheres to ethical standards in academic research, copyright, and human rights, and accepts submissions including research articles, literature reviews, book reviews, and opinion pieces in the fields of educational sciences and teacher education.
